My previous life before undertaking this trip was working in the paper manufacturing industry in the Pacific Northwest. Out of Florida and into Georgia

We were rained on yesterday, it was a good thing for central Florida as they haven't had rain for 90 days. It was a heavy downpour with lightning and thunder. We found cover in a park and waited it out. I noted that several cars pulled in as well. Heard on the news there were a couple of tornados out of the storm. Florida's highways are very nice and the country side so very beautiful. Central Florida is rolling hills and has lots of lakes. The smell of Orange blossoms while riding the sweeping highway is something I hope I'll never forget.
Traveling in Georgia after yesterdays rain was great. The traffic on the freeway was stop and go, so we took off cross country. Again rolling hills, pasture lands, yellow pines and Pecan trees everywhere. The people are friendly, we stopped for a map check and a biker stopped, chatted and showed us a nicer way to travel to Deals Gap. The back roads are smooth and four lanes with no one on them...Of course it is Saturday.
One thing we noticed in Florida was a lot of churches and adult clubs, in Georgia there seems to be many more churches but haven't seen any adult shops.

We finally leave Daytona, right!

Can you believe it?
We picked up the bike, packed up and headed for the Keys.
About 100 miles down I-95 Ron decides he wants to travel closer to the water. Leaving a stop light his belt rolls off the bike in Sebastian, Florida.
I kept waiting for a response from Ron, I mean, come on, he's got to blow. His verbal response was "I think this is kind of humorous". I felt helpless.
A passerby took Ron to the local bike shop. Ron ordered a belt, got a tow to the shop, and the shop took 24 hours to replace the belt.
